February 25, 2008 - Undefeated Joe Greene from the US retained the vacant NABA Middleweight title after stopping Francisco Mora from Argentina in the tenth round of a bout held last Saturday at the Madison Square Garden in New York.

Greene (18-0, 14 KOs) dropped Mora four times before the Argentinean quit on his stool before the start of the eleventh round.
A right hand to the body dropped Mora (52-13, 35 KOs) in the second. When he rose he was caught with a right hook and dropped again shortly afterwards.
A left hook dropped Mora again in the fourth, yet Mora complained of a low blow. A point was docked in the sixth after Greene landed another low blow to Mora's thigh. Greene really began picking apart Mora in the seventh with quick jabs and flurries to the head and Chiarantano had the ringside doctor check Mora in the following round for an injury to the right ear.
Finally, after receiving such a bad punishment Mora decided not to come out for the eleventh round.
